Hello! I am selling my own 1990 BMW 525i. This car has around 72,000 miles so mechanically is in pretty good condition. Other than the paint job, cosmetically is in pretty good shape too! I always buy these cars because of their reliability. The 525i's are not as powerful as the 535i, but I prefer them because their engines are more reliable. They just keep running, and running and running – as long as you take care of them, of course!! Just about everything works, A/C blows cold, drives and runs very smoothly. Brakes are good... No power steering leaks, and the steering is pretty tight too, etc. All electrical, lights and computer panel are all good. As stated above, all this car really needs is a professional paint job. Don't get me wrong the car still looks decent, as the photos demonstrate, but it could look better! This Bimmer is very reliable, and is ready to go anywhere! This is what I have done to the car less than six months ago:• New tires!• New timing belt with tensioners, etc!• All belts!• New Fan Clutch, and Radiator Hoses!• A/C serviced, new dryer, main switch among other things! It works very well!• Front shocks• Some other miscellaneous stuff that can't remember right now.• Well maintained! Things that need attention:• Paint finish• Rear shocks are weak... Could use new ones!• The miles digital indicator is weak, but you can still read it (see photo)• "Washer Fluid Low" warning on cluster is always on. I have tried to reset it, but no luck. This is about the only thing that I could not figure out! This is a NO RESERVE LISTING, so this is a good opportunity to acquire a good BMW! Serious eBay members only, PLEASE!!
