Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1959 Buick LeSabre Hot Rod/Rat Rod/Custom. I’ve owned this car for a couple of years. Clear Ohio title in my name. This is a 59 Buick LeSabre 4 door hardtop, no post. Still has the original 364 nail head and Dynaflow transmission, which both operate great. Engine runs great, does not smoke or use oil. Dynaflow transmission operates just fine. The transmission does have the typical leaks for these cars. The car has been hot rodded slightly, but nothing has been done where the car couldn’t be returned to original if someone wanted to do so. Over the past two years, I have repaired or replaced the following parts: · New 2” drop springs from Jamco all the way around. · New shocks in front, and air shocks in back. · Re-cored the radiator · Rebuilt the waterpump · Replaced all belts and hoses · New thermostat · New battery · Steering box rebuilt · Original power brake booster rebuilt · NOS light switch The bell flower exhaust is LOUD and sounds MEAN as hell. Previous owner of the car is pin-stripe artist “Killer D”. He is a true artist with his pin striping and is known nationwide for his work. He added the pin striping on rear deck and “The Jester” on both sides. The rest of the paint on the car is fair. Car was originally baby blue. Body does have some rust issues to deal with in the rockers and floor pans. Frame is solid – no rot. Trunk pan is solid. Stainless trim is all in pretty decent shape. I do have a set of used front door trim that I’ll include with the car. They are in better shape than those on the car. All pot metal trim is also present and in decent shape. Interior is largely original. Front seat has old cover on it in decent shape. Rear seat in decent shape. Original door panels are all in pretty good shape. Headliner is original. Dash is all original. Gauges work, though the gas gauge is not accurate. Speedo is not working. Odometer reads 75,xxx. All glass is good. No chips or cracks anywhere. This car is a blast to drive, and it handles beautifully with the new suspension under it. This a cheap cruiser that seats 6 adults no problem. The ’59 Buicks are hard to come by, and expensive if they are in running and driving condition; even the four doors go for big money. Here’s your chance to own one for very little money. Ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Scammers, don’t waste my time; I wasn’t born yesterday and you’re not stealing the car. I don’t care if the car sells internationally, but buyer takes full responsibility for getting the car through customs, and all buyers are responsible for shipping. Serious buyers are welcome and encouraged to come inspect the car prior to the auction ending. A winning bid is a contract to buy the car, not a reservation to inspect and negotiate on the sales price. Car is for sale as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees of any kind expressed or implied. The car is also for sale locally. With that, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks for checking out my auction!
