Vehicle Detail
1994 Honda Civic DX 5 Spd hatch A/C ALL STOCK UNMODIFED - 45 MPGRuns & drives great. In fact, its just back from a round trip to Florida. Has a really nice Alpine stereo with Ipod controls & Alpine door speakers with an Ipod I/F cable. Got 45 MPG on the trip.Has some oxidation, may rub out didn't try, a few dents on the right side & the usual slight rear fender paint bubbles. Everything works great. Even the A/C - not ice cold but cold enough. Only 3 owners. Also included are rear trailing arms for rear disc install with calipers - just need the discs & parking brake cables. The reason for selling it- A friend of our son searched for months for a stock Civic to do a B18 swap in. He found this one but enjoyed the high gas mileage. He knew the B18 wouldn't be close to this because I did a built B16 for him 2 years ago. He then inherited a large amount of $ & bought an EVO. My son, him & 2 others were getting ready to move to Florida. My son's clutch went out in his BMW & since he needed to get to Florida by a certain day, he needed a car. He bought this Civic & drove to Florida. I did the clutch in his BMW & drove it to Florida, returning in the Civic. It drove great, getting 45mpg - with 4 people & some luggage - even though the trip down was nicer, but there is no comparison between a 540i & a Civic hatchback. Anyway we don't need the extra Civic. I have a CRX HF for work, my wife has her car & our daughter has her car - so it is for sale. Will make someone a fantastic car.Plus the headliner is perfect. I've had ALOT of Hondas & have never seen such a perfect headliner. Usually they have holes, dings, scratches or something - not this one. This is a great opportunity to own one of the few unmodified EG's left. I just installed a used antenna because the other one was broken but it seems to have a loose connection up at the top. At first there was still no reception but after taking the mounting screws out & lifting it out a bit, the reception was good. Moving it around, the reception fades in & out. Anyway it's installed & will keep the rain out but it will need repaired or replaced to get good reception. I can include more pics of the dents on the right side if anyone wants. Relisting because the last deadbeats apparently were REALLY CONFUSED, COULDN'T READ and COULDN'T SEE. Plus in their initial email they titled it 97 Civic. They thought they were buying a perfect car and had no appreciation of a reliable stock hatch, or had dillusions of wanting a perfect car for cheap or they didn't have the cash - still not sure. Anyway if you are really confused like them or can't complete the purchase then please don't bid. It is a great all original 94 Civic Hatch - if you don't appreciate this fact then please don't bid & go buy a kid's hacked up failed "swap" gone wrong. This is a great car that will run for a long, long time & give you great gas mileage. You can leave it stock or do your mad swap. On Sep-25-11 at 15:10:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I added some underneath pics. In the front right side pic, one can see the new boot. The grease is from when the old boot ripped. This is a great kid's first car. Has some character imperfections but then you won't be upset when jr comes home with his first dent.
