As you can clearly see in the picture of the door plate this is one of the rarest Rancheros ever made, this little-known and extremely rare offering in 1969 was the Rio Grande. Available on special order, this was essentially a GT in the so-called "Grabber" colors of "Wimbledon White", "Poppy Red" or "Calypso Coral", partially blacked-out hood with scoop, side stripes, bed rails, vinyl top and unique "Ford Ranchero Rio Grande" wheel centers. As a result, Rancheros so equipped received Ford's "SPECIAL PERFORMANCE VEHICLE" identification on the data plate regardless of engine choice. These vehicles may be identified by the aforementioned designation, as well as a blank space where the color code would normally be found. Production figures are unclear, but may have been around 900 total units. This 1969 Ford Ranchero Rio Grande is NICE indeed ! It has an "H" in its serial number which designates a TRUE 351 V8 model !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Yes, as you can see in the pictures it is a real head turner ! It is tough to find a vintage Ranchero in this kind of Nice shape. This beauty has a clean appearance and has obviously been very well maintained and it runs and drives like a dream !! This is a DRY Idaho vehicle and in my opinion your not going to find much nicer original floors than the ones on this BEAUTY !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come and look this vehicle over for yourself, you won't be disapointed !! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR !! The vehicle has what appears to be the Original - "GROUND POUNDING" - "H" Code - 351 CID V8 motor in it and running very well. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style dual exhaust system. If you put the hammer down on this truck it will cherp 2nd gear !! The engine is backed by a smooth - FLX three speed automatic transmission which also functions well. It also has - Code "6" - 9" Rear-end with 3.00 rear axle gears so you know it is an awesome highway cruiser.. The code "5A" mostly ORIGINAL Black Interior is in NICE shape with NICE New carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Black 50/50 split bench seat , NICE ORIGINAL Black Fairlane 500 door panels, ORIGINAL steering wheel, factory seat belts, NICE headliner and sun visors, ORIGINAL dash and new dash pad cover. NICE Original "500" factory gauge package / cluster with factory 120 MPH speedometer and Nice Original glass. This Rig is ready to go and everything works except the original AM Radioand the clock. The vehicle has GREAT looks and AWESOME power as well ! It is nicely equipped including Air conditioning that was just professionally serviced, power steering, dual color matched remote exterior sport mirrors and a good heater and defroster Awesome Gt hood scoop with scoop mounted trun signal indicators. The suspension front and rear is in good working order ! This vehicle is in beautiful condition from top to bottom and from front to back. I drove this BEAUTY for three weeks to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! Have a look at this C@@L Little Ranchero Fairlane 500 "Rio Grande" !!! As you can clearly see in the picture of the door plate this is one of the rarest Rancheros ever made, this little-known and extremely rare offering in 1969 was the Rio Grande. Available on special order, this was essentially a GT in the so-called "Grabber" colors of "Wimbledon White", "Poppy Red" or "Calypso Coral", partially blacked-out hood with scoop, side stripes, bed rails, vinyl top and unique "Ford Ranchero Rio Grande" wheel centers. As a result, Rancheros so equipped received Ford's "SPECIAL PERFORMANCE VEHICLE" identification on the data plate regardless of engine choice. These vehicles may be identified by the aforementioned designation, as well as a blank space where the color code would normally be found. Production figures are unclear, but may have been around 900 total units.
This 1969 Ford Ranchero Rio Grande is NICE indeed ! It has an "H" in its serial number which designates a TRUE 351 V8 model !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Yes, as you can see in the pictures it is a real head turner ! It is tough to find a vintage Ranchero in this kind of Nice shape. This beauty has a clean appearance and has obviously been very well maintained and it runs and drives like a dream !! This is a DRY Idaho vehicle and in my opinion your not going to find much nicer original floors than the ones on this BEAUTY !! The vehicle has what appears to be the Original - "GROUND POUNDING" - "H" Code - 351 CID V8 motor in it and running very well. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style dual exhaust system. If you put the hammer down on this truck it will cherp 2nd gear !! The engine is backed by a smooth - FLX three speed automatic transmission which also functions well. It also has - Code "6" - 9" Rear-end with 3.00 rear axle gears so you know it is an awesome highway cruiser.. The code "5A" mostly ORIGINAL Black Interior is in NICE shape with NICE New carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Black 50/50 split bench seat , NICE ORIGINAL Black Fairlane 500 door panels, ORIGINAL steering wheel, factory seat belts, NICE headliner and sun visors, ORIGINAL dash and new dash pad cover. NICE Original "500" factory gauge package / cluster with factory 120 MPH speedometer and Nice Original glass. This Rig is ready to go and everything works except the original AM Radioand the clock. The vehicle has GREAT looks and AWESOME power as well ! It is nicely equipped including Air conditioning that was just professionally serviced, power steering, dual color matched remote exterior sport mirrors and a good heater and defroster Awesome Gt hood scoop with scoop mounted trun signal indicators. This vehicle is in beautiful condition from top to bottom and from front to back. I drove this BEAUTY for three weeks to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !!
