Selling Vehicle for my Neighbor - A CA Rust-Free Original Dodge Tradesman B-Series A Rare, Hard-to find and SMOG EXEMPT 1974 Dodge B-Series Tradesman Van History = Bought, Driven and Owned in CALIFORNIA for the Life of the vehicle! [Year-Match Blue License Plates] [Numbers Matching Engine/Trans to Frame and Body] I am the 3rd Owner of this Van, bought from a good friend who bought from the original owner. No AC - but heater works great in the cold months - and AC can be installed for about 2 bills. Everything Rebuilt or Replaced within the last 16K Miles [So much rebuilt it's like having a new Van] This Van is Owned by a Van Man - And well Cared for. The Engine was rebuild nearly 3 years ago - and has seen less than 20K miles since. Condition: Runs and Drives - reliable 318 motor / 727 Trans Automatic Shift on the Column Strong Motor - Starts right up and Purs Low and Deep Trans goes into every gear, and has a strong reverse for hills. Original Vehicle Specifications: Short Bed "Stubby" Length on STANDARD Wheelbase Original #'s Matching Body to Rebuilt 318 Motor- Powerful Drivetrain Strong & Reliable 318 Engine 90% Rebuilt 727 Transmission has no absolutely no problems... give a minute to warm up. Original Body (NO windows cut into sides of body & NO center console holes in floor pan) Original Paint Original 5-slot Aluminum Mag Rims with Good Tread on Tires Body: Body is very Straight, has some "dings and imperfections, scratches - etc - will need a paint job. All the body work was done professionally, and I thought Iwould paint it before listing it - which costs about $1200 here in cali - then figured the buyer may want to do it their way, or change the color. No lame windows cut into the sidewalls in the very rear... No Cut-out panels in Floor Either. Features SIDE-SWING Doors on Passenger Side Cargo - instead of a Slider. There is SLIGHT (no exaggeration) body filler here and there, very very thin and very few places. The beauty of a VAN is that you can peer from the inside cargo area and look and feel the areas where you can see the red primer in the photos, and the 'damage' was so minor - you will know it was straight. Paint is oxydized and faded in places... at the least it will need some color-match touch-up paint. I will discount the final price by $100 to the buyer to purchase a brand new roof vent and new dash vents (both available on eBay) There is some very light surface rust on the front door sills, Grill is Perfect, Headlight Bezels are Perfect, Running Lights Faded - but Perfect. Ready for Re-Paint or Color of your Choice (I opted to keep it original, so there's no 'cover-ups' in this sale.
