A numbers matching 1968 Dodge Charger 383 4V with a 727 automatic transmission. This is a second owner rust free California black plate car that has undergone the equivilent of a frame off restoration. The body was stripped and media blasted with all and any rusty spots cut out and replaced. The under carraige sheet metal was primed and painted then covered with a catalysed bed liner. All shocks were replaced with new hydralic front shocks and new rear air shocks and lines. All brakes were replaced, with new wheel cylinders, shoes , and hardware in the rear and new pads and rotors in the front. Front wheel bearings were removed, cleaned, and repacked. Front seals were replaced. Rear axle and pinion seals were replaced and new hypoid fluid added. Automatic transmission was rebuilt with a new torque converter and fluid.Universal joints were replaced. Engine was checked and removed for new seals, gaskets, timing chain, fuel pump, detail, etc. Radiator cleaned, all hoses, thermostat, belts, coolant, water pump, and clamps replaced. New vinyl top, windshield, trunk seal, trunk mat, door and trunk locks. Interior replaced with new Legendary door panels, seat covers, headliner, package tray and insulation, rear seat cardboard divider, new door sill plates, and dome light. New ACC carpet. Dash pad recovered,, new visors, lock knobs, and rear window trim. Tic Toc Tach, AM 8 track, and original owners manual and build sheet. Front tires are 245 60 15 Cooper Cobras on 8" original American Racing Torque Thrust mag wheels. Rear are 275 60 15 Cooper Cobras on 10" original AR Torque Thrusts. New Burgundy Acrylic enamel paint applied to a perfectly smooth body. Rechromed rear bumper, good front bumper with near perfect grille. Door, hood, trunk, and other rubber bumpers replaced.
