1962 CORVAIR Monza Spyder Convertible - Original Factory 150 HP TURBO ENGINE. NO RESERVE Bought 2 corvairs (a rampside pickup & this convertible) and only have resources to restore one. This convertible is ready to restore to original or parts for a clone. These convertibles are becoming more rare, especially with the turbo engine, 4-speed transmission, posi trac, plus factory tachometer & gauges. This car seems to be 95% original. Car had been garaged for 20 years so I was told. All gauges work & interior is respectable. Top is not bad, but shows age & back plastic window is missing. Some body work had been completed, but some is still needed; needs rockers. Front floorpans have rust; some areas have been patched. Appears engine was overhauled before storage. Not wanting to contaminate the fuel system, a temporary fuel system is in place. Clear Texas Title. Engine runs great & strong - No smoke. Turbo engine alone is worth $800 at least: (see YouTube video link below). Needs brake master cylinder. Needs to be dollyed or trailered home.
