1963 1/2 Fastback Ford Galaxie project vehicle. Too many projects this one has to go unfortunately. Originally a 390 automatic car now is a 390 4speed. Engine out of car and disassembled down to the short block, needs rebuild have new .040 over pistons for it and streetmaster aluminum intake. Trans is a overdrive toploader appears to be in good operating condition but I cannot gaurantee it. 9 inch rear with unknown gear ratio, have a 4.56 ring and pinion to go with it. Frame of car is in very good solid condition, body has rust issues as follows. Floor pans would need patching but is not a fred flinstone mobile, both rear quarters have rust ahead of and behind wheel opening, I have a very solid pair of behind the wheel opening panels with the trunk drop offs for the car as well as a new trunk floor panel whitch it needs. Bottom of doors have rust in corners, right front fender in very solid condition left fender has lower patch panel with it and has some rust on top. Hood has a teardrop scoop roughed in and some rust in the front letter area. Rear decklid very nice with just a little rust at rear lip. Roof has rust at drip rail and sail area and front windshield, not real bad but is repairable. All glass good no cracks except windshield has a wiper scratch on the passenger side. No bumpers as I was going to replace the bumpers, hood, fenders and decklid with fiberglass parts from Crites. Some parts restored and powder coated such as bumper brackets, hood hinges and springs, core support mtg brkts and some interior parts. I have a complete 64 xl bucket seat interior for the car as it did not have any seats when I got it. Front buckets are in very good restorable condition or you could use as is drivers seat has small seam seperation and passenger has no damage. rear seat needs recovering, seats are black. Have brand new front door panels in black and very good rear side panels but are blue and could be dyed black. Have all the headliner trim in stainless very good condition. Have all the side trim in very good condition with a couple of pieces having small repairable dents. Have rocker trim one side near perfect and polished other side polished and very dented. Please ask any questions on what I might have left out. Again I really don't want to let this car go but I have to be realistic about finishing my prior project before jumping into another, yes it needs work and I know I will regret not having it when I finish my other car.
