I completely rebuilt this car in 2001. This included, but not limited to, complete engine rebuild by a VW technician, all new floors, dash, brakes, paint, and suspension. It runs great. It is completely street legal and has a clear title. Since 2001 it has been my "Sunday driver", when the weather corporates of course. I am in the process of remodeling my garage and it needs a new home. It has a standard 1600cc motor with a dual barrel weber. It is a lot of fun, especially for others like me who like to be out in the elements. It needs some small maintenance items, such as a new fuel gauge and new valve cover gaskets.
