I am selling my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse 5-speed manual convertible, This is an “as is” deal because I dealt with the quirks without realizing I was doing it because this car has been such a fun, reliable car to drive. Most of the miles are freeway (if you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, 280 when it opens up north of Palo Alto and you can really go, not the bumper to bumper stuff on 101) And just between us, when I bought it 6 years ago from my friend who was the original owner, on the test drive we took it up over 100 on 280 and it was smooth and fabulous. It still is. This car settles in well around 80 and handles like a dream. It runs great, my mechanic says it’s in great shape for the miles, and it passed a California smog test with flying colors on August 5. · 186,000 miles · Needs a new top because the heat sealed glass back window is coming out.(see photo) · A ding on the driver quarter panel (see photo) · Electrical glitch that my mechanics have never been able to find – if you play CDs the battery might not start, but the radio works fine with no problems · The jets where the windshield washing fluid comes out are stopped up The serious stuff Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping or pick up costs..
