Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1973 Suzuki TS185k , This is a very low time TS185, I am the second owner, I have a clean AZ title and manual in hand. I have owned this bike the last 10 or 12 years and have ridden it 4 or 5 times so I am selling it to someone who wants a nice parts of motorcycling history and a fun bike to ride to work, trails or camping. Over the years I have done a few things to the bike and added many NOS and NEW parts. The bike was Blue but I changed it to Yellow like the one I had when I was a kid, NOS gas tank, NOS front and rear fenders, NOS side cover, NOS flip up gas cap. NOS tail light, NOS speedometer ( Not sure of the actual mileage) NEW trials tires, Optional 21" front wheel, TM125 front forks with new seals and oil and a TM125 kick starter that folds completely out of the way the stock kick starter always rubbed your heal, Optional Suzuki chrome luggage rack, NOS tachometer cable, NOS fuel valve, NOS rear foot pegs, I never rode on the street so I put the claw type foot pegs on it with a folding tip shifter that was a bit longer for my size 13 shoe. Seat has no tears or rips in it, and the original tool kit is still under the seat. There is a new battery that goes with the bike, I never installed it. When I got the bike I installed a new Suzuki piston/rings, wrist pin and bearings with clips, it should still be like new. I have put less than 75-100 miles on it in all the years I have had it. The bike is oil injected so add the oil to the oil tank under the seat and go ride, no mixing of gas and oil is required. The bad for the bike is there is a chip in the NOS gas tank, a bicycle fell on it, I have a picture of the chip for you to see. The bike needs nothing, and will turn heads where ever you go. I will be listing several bikes that I no longer ride, so please check my other auctions the next few days. There are still LOTS of dealer parts for the TS185 you can still get rods and pistons. Unlike the newer 4 strokes this bike is very cheep to run and easy to maintain. This bike is ready to ride, I cannot honestly think of anything it needs to go riding except gas/oil and a rider. Thank You for looking.
