Vehicle Detail

1995 Mustang GT Bondurant Race Car DE Track Car NASA American Iron This Car is Not Street Legal Sold on Bill of sale No Trades Sold AS Is/ Where Is Buyer Responsible For Shipping This Car Does Not Run This car started out as an automatic and had only 25,000 miles on it when purchased from Bondurant in 2004. Clean no-hit no stress crack body. Car comes with over 2” of maintenance records and receipts. The car was stripped for weight and the drivetrain was replaced by a 331 stroker and a Tremec 5 speed transmission. Extensive modifications to the steering and suspension were also made. I purchase the car in 2008 and spent an additional $4,800 having the car professionally rewired, new brakes/rotors, new dash and Autometer Gauges, and track set-up. I have used the car as a track car for fun at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson Texas, and have used it less than 10 sessions (30 minutes each) since completion. While prepping the car for this year’s fall track time (too hot to run in the 100 degree heat here) we discovered some engine damage. A rocker arm has broken and the pushrod has damaged the camshaft. I have decided to try to sell the car as-is to someone who can do the repair work themselves. This will be a great deal for the price I am asking. Here are some of the details of the car’s components: 331 Stroker Motor with $4,000 receipts for machine work/parts Bullet Racing Cam (now damaged) AED 750 Performance Road Race Carb Edlebrock Intake MSD Ignition Holly Electric Fuel pump Powermaster Alternator Valeo Clutch Maxim Motorsports $1,100 – Koni_ Front Suspension Evolution Motorsport “Tri-Link” Rear Suspension Rack and Pinion Kit New Autometer Gauges Nascar Style Roll Cage New Painless Wiring 18” Roush Cobra Wheels Window Safety Nets Weight 3260 56% Front/ 44% Rear Almost New Cobra Brakes and Rotors I am going to have to kiss an ugly baby in terms of the choices I have here. I’m well over 60 years old, and I have a lot more invested in this car than I am asking. This would be a great car for a father/son/daughter project. Buy a crate engine for $3,500 with a guarantee and use the great parts on this engine; or spend a few hundred for a new cam and rocker arm assembly. Your labor will pay large dividends. P. S .-- You will also need tires- mine are worn. Bid with confidence, I have over 10 years on EBay and have 100% Feedback. I’ve bought and sold several cars on EBay and have been collecting cars over 40 years. No sad stories, no trades, no parts—just a great deal for the buyer. The car is what it is…. I will give you an honest answer to your questions, but keep in mind, I’m not an expert--- come look at the car for yourself. I reserve the right to end the sale early—it is for sale elsewhere. I am located about 10 miles from Texas Motor Speedway. Please schedule an inspection to check the car out.
