1982 Honda passport C70

If you are thinking about buying any Honda C70 Passport, an 82 or 83 is the way to go because only THOSE years have the 12 Volt system as well as Electronic ignition. THIS Passport also has the VERY hard to find accessory REAR TWIN BASKETS which make this Passport practical as well as fun. I first bought this at an Estate Sale in 2006. It only had 870 original miles. It ran awful but all it needed was a carburetor rebuild. I had it rebuilt at the Honda dealer here for $140. I have also changed the oil religiously every 750 miles, new tires, GEL battery, regularly greased the zirks, lubed the chain, changed the air filter. This Honda runs just like new. STRONG electric starter, properly lubed and working choke cable, all lights and speedometer work properly, shifts PERFECTLY. Brakes are like new. Top speed is 48 mph (on a level with NO headwind). I check EVERY TANK fill-up and it has NEVER gotten less than 105 MPG but it averages 110 mpg. I'm not guessing either. During the 2008 gasoline crisis, I rode this exclusively for almost 2 years and saved a TON of money. If you live in an area where you can drive this to the store and such, the money you can save is AWESOME. This Honda NEEDS NOTHING. I've already done it I have always kept it cleaned and waxed and covered in my clean clutter-free garage. WITH this Honda, I am also including 2 extra bran new tires and the 1982 Factory Passport Service Manual. Come and take it for a ride. You WILL be impressed. If you need it delivered in the Arizona area, I can do that for expenses. Whatever the gas actually costs me plus a simple lunch. Questions?
