Purchased in July 1987, I am the 24-year owner, and second owner overall, of this very clean and reliable 1984 Rolls Royce Silver Spur. It has been in my fleet of vehicles for hire and I have been the primary driver. The vehicle has never been in a collision, but, in advance of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, I did a total repaint using the Performance White Lincoln Town Car color. Also, at that time, all of the glass was removed and the rubber weather stripping was replaced. The radio was changed to a Sony which includes a CD player and the factory speakers were also replaced at this time. The servicing of the vehicle was performed at F.C. Kerbeck in Palmyra, NJ (an authorized RR dealer) and then, beginning in 2003, I opened my own service facility. Over the years it has served as a revenue-generator, but the for-hire demand has been reduced due to the general wedding limousine business moving towards the “party bus” scene. My newest facility has far less space and I do not want to simply put the vehicle into storage. The vehicle will certainly pass any inspection which can be performed here at my facility (my service director has maintained the vehicle to the same level as my other livery vehicles which drive 60k miles or more each year). The vehicle is located at my facility, less than 2 minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport. Complimentary pickup service from the airport or Philadelphia Train Station is available.
