1982 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler with 136K miles. Original inline 4.2L 6 cylinder with a 5 speed transmission. All emissions equipment remains intact and is functional. Jeep has been recently restored and runs and drives beautifully. Truly needs to be seen and driven to be appreciated. Originally an Arizona Jeep that made its way to NC about 5 years ago so it was and is a rust free CJ. I have 3 tops for the Jeep, a brand new black half cab soft top which you see in the pictures, a tan half cab hard top in very good shape, and a full Kayline tan soft top with full soft doors also in very good shape. The Jeep also has a very recent 2.5 inch lift installed with 31" BFG MT tires. You won't find a nicer example. The Scrambler has the following options: Power brakes, Power steering, HD cooling, tilt steering wheel, working clock, working tachometer (Laredo package) Here is a listing of work done/parts replaced over the past year to restore the Jeep. I have most of the receipts for the parts used on the Jeep. -Media blasted and repainted in original Chestnut Brown (base coat clear coat paint) -New fender flares -New parking lights and stop/tail/turn lights -New polyurethane body and suspension bushings installed all around -Spray in bedliner tinted to color of interior -New Bestop bucket seats -Tuffy console (with new AM/FM/CD/USB stereo mounted inside) -New gauges (oil pressure, volt meter, water temperature, and fuel) -New blower motor and heater core -New windshield -T5 transmission rebuilt and clutch replaced less than 1000 miles ago -New clutch linkage -New steering box -New seals in Dana 300 transfer case -One piece rear axles and a limited slip differential installed in the rear AMC 20 and 3.54 gears were installed in both the front and rear -Carburetor has been rebuilt -New hoses and belts -New brakes and hydraulics (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses) all the way around -and im sure alot more that i have forgot for more info please call 919-919-818-8140 kevin
