1967 Mustang fastback project car. Door Tag: Body 63A (fastback) COlor K (Nightmist Blue) Trim 2B (standard blue) Date 26J (26 Sept) DSO 330014 (Detroit Sales Office Special Order #14) Axle 1 ( 3.0:1) Trans 5 (4 speed manual). Car is complete with drivetrain, but will need full restoration and replacement of most major sheet metal, including full floors & front frame rails. One side of the trunk frame is rusted through. Someone put some horrible flairs on the quarters, so when you take them off, expect the worst. Doors have issues ( one does not open and the other will not latch, but I have another set from a coupe that will go with the car. Turn signal hood is not usable, but I have a standard hood I will include with the sale. One of the hood hinges is broken and the battery tray is rusted through but the shock towers have not been cut to access the grease fittings which was common. I purchased the car in 2004 and drove it onto the trailer but have not started it since. Reverse did not work at the time but it ran fine. The door tag states it is a 289 4 bbl, but there is presently a Fred Jones tagged (D9TZAL) Motorcraft 2 bbl carb on a C8AE-9426-B Ford intake so I do not know if the rest of the engine is orginal to the car or not. All glass is intact, there is a small arc in the windshield, probably from a bad wiper, but it is not scored and may polish out. All interior including the fold down rear seat is there including the access door to thetruck and the prop handle ( these are usually gone). The console visable in the photo is a 65-66 model and rough. Car is sold with bill of sale only, however I will give you my 2004 bill of sale and the last title for the car car (1996 GA) and the bill of sale who she sold it to to help you establish chain of ownership. Not interested in trades or sales outside of EBAY. Payment must be made in cash at time of vehicle pick up.
