2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with 4.6 Liter v8 with NO RESERVE! Truck will sell for final bid only. Email for any other questions not covered here or to arrange an in-person inspection. This is my personal Explorer. It's in excellent shape and EVERYTHING WORKS! I'm selling it because I'm simply not a Ford guy and will be buying a Chevy pickup. I owned a Suburban for 8 years prior. Right before I bought my house, I reluctantly sold it and have kicked myself in the rear ever since. I own a house now and wish I could buy it back. I thought the Explorer could fill it's shoes but it's simply not my cup of tea. I'm sure it's great for someone else with this type of vehicle in mind. I've had the truck for 2 years - bought from New Jersey. The engine and transmission are as smooth as silk and need nothing. The body is completely straight. There is ONE MINOR BODY DEFECT as indicated in the pictures - the rear tailgate valance is cracked. This is simply a cosmetic condition. The drivers door has a couple of minor paint scuffs that should be able to be removed with a buffer. There are TWO MINOR INTERIOR DEFECTS. The middle seat (center of 3 pieces) has a latch (used to unlock the seat allowing it to fold flat) has a broken plastic tab so the latch itself hangs off by the cable and is no longer attached to the seat directly. It does not prevent it from working however. Again, this is minor and can cheaply be remedied with a new plastic assembly. The leather steering wheel has a small piece of leather peeled at about 12:30 it's about 1 quarter in size - cosmetic. The CarFax indicates this truck was in an accident in 2006 (long before I bought it). I do not have any details unfortunately and was well aware of the history when I bought it. The truck's body and frame are perfectly true, everything works, it drives perfectly and there is zero damage anywhere. I suspect the damage may was minor and just body panels because there is ZERO evidence of welds or straightening anywhere. Frame is 100%. I'm a mechanical engineer and have inspected the truck thoroughly and maintained it well. Feel free to come inspect the car in person. You can bring your mechanic to check it out. You will not be disappointed. It's perfectly clean and what I think is a steal at this price. The rear tires are in good shape and I estimate they have 60 percent tread left. The front tires need replacement. Front rotors were resurfaced and new pads put on about 5000 miles ago. Rear rotors/pads were completely replaced about 4000 miles ago. This truck is awesome. It seats 8 people comfortably. It's FANTASTIC IN THE SNOW! AWD works great. There are no leaks, no rust and no problems. Get in and drive anywhere. It's the Eddie Bauer edition with the 4.6l v8 which means it has two tone paint, leather interior with normal wear on the driver's seat (no cracks), upgraded 6-cd stereo with subwoofer, 3.73 rear gears for great towing, 2-inch receiver, power everything, 2-way moonroof, fog lights, tint all-around (I added the driver and passenger windows), upgraded wheels, roof rack, tow package with oil cooler, etc. This truck currently is NOT REGISTERED and sits in my driveway as off a couple of weeks ago as I transferred plates to another vehicle. Other 2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer v8's on eBay are being listed for $1,000 - $3,000 more even with more mileage. Take a look yourself.
