Vehicle Detail

'67 Bel Air 2 door sedan. No engine or trans. Was originally a 6 cylinder/powerglide car, I set it up for a stick and ran a small block/4 speed in it. This was my daily driver until about a year ago. You could literally drop and engine and trans in and go. All the suspension and brakes are tight, adjusted, and in good condition. Everything worked heater, gauges, lights, signals, wipers, and horn. What I know about it: It's an east coast car that came to Colorado in about 2000-01. It had New Hampshire plates on it when I got it, and has a Conneticuit inspection sticker on the windshield. I bought it from a local wrecking yard in 2006, and the yard owner told me when I bought it that two guys drove this thing from Maine on a road trip and they blew the engine up in Colorado Springs and sold it to the junkyard I mentioned. I bought this car and a wrecked gold on gold 67 Impala SS as a package deal. The Impala was a 4 speed car with the F41 suspension package. The pedals and clutch linkage are out of that car, so is the steering column, and the sway bars. The 1/4's, the lower fenders, and the floor right under the front seat were all rusty. This was my first body project, and I fixed the rust and painted it in my garage. I'm not a pro, but I'm not a hack either. I butt welded everything and quenched as I welded. The paint is PPG flat black over Global surfacer and Deltron sealer and thats the original white painted top. The Good: The body is now very solid. Floors and trunk are original and very good. Original color on all the body panels I don't believe its ever been wrecked. All the doors/hood/trunk open and close well. All the glass is in very good shape, windshield is very good no cracks or pits. All the trim is very nice as well hood molding has dings in it so do the eyebrows but still very useable. Front bumper is very nice, the rear bumper has a ding in it and I will include a nicer rear bumper than whats on it. Interior is also clean and useable. Needs upholstry thats it. New dash pad and cover, headliner is good, package tray has been cut for speakers but that's also new. Comes with the factory tach dash and harness out of the Impala. The rearend is a 12-bolt with 3.31's and an open carrier. Has been resealed, new oil, ready to go. Factory sway bars front and rear this car drives very good, very tight very little body roll. This car has no options. manual everything. New seals around the doors and truck. The clutch linkage is all there. Comes with a bunch of extra parts and a good spare tire. New heater core. The Bad: A small brained college student hit the drivers 1/4 right behind the wheel opening right after I painted it. Not hard, but enough to crease it, crack the bondo, and ruin my day. I screwed the passenger 1/4 by opening my door into it when it was -5 outside and cracked the bondo right behind the door. Theres quite a bit of mud in that 1/4 right behind the door cause I lost the body line welding it up. Yeah I know. Lesson learned. The original radio bracket/hole was cut out for a CD player (I didn't do it!) but it was done pretty well and a deck fits in there nicely. I will also include the radio bracket out of the Impala, as well as the bezel and the original AM radio. Does not come with a radiator, but does come with the spacer and the shroud. Rear tires are just about shot, the fronts are worn but theres a little left. 245/60 BFG's. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 303-524-2690 my name is Kevin. Buyer to pay in full within 7 days of auction end, will work with buyer to arrange shipping if needed. Buyer pays shipping cost. No warranty on the car, no returns or refunds. No deadbeats. If you can't pay don't bid. Thanks!
