1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible - Original Red and White Car 348 4bbl - 4 Speed Manual Older restoration car - Drive as is or good restoration project car This car has been stored indoors for the last 20+ years. It is in good running, driving condition although does need some work. My dad restored this car and made it into a driver. My family has enjoyed taking it out for cruises for the last 20+ years, however as the kids are getting older and pursuing other interests we do use it as much and have decided to sell it. The rear tires and battery are newer. I have also replaced the ball joints, tie-rod ends, and front shocks within the past few years. I have posted pictures to document the flaws as best as possible, however some issues worth mentioning are... The top is in poor condition and does not function automatically. I believe all of the parts are there but I have never attempted to hook it up. The dash board gauges are not functioning. The windshield has wiper scratches which could possibly be buffed out (?)The interior is getting a little faded. As with any driver, there are some minor scratches and dings on the exterior. The floor pans in the front and rear have been replaced with non GM parts, they were fabricated to fit. A deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction end and full payment is due within 10 days of auction end. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. After taking a further look at the gauges in the car, the generator and oil lights work. The fuel gauge also is functioning. The speedometer is not working, the cable is broken but all other components seem to be there. The car is an original 348 Impala. The lower quarters have been replaced and butt welded with little to no Bondo used. The exterior is in really nice shape. The inner rockers and braces have not been replaced.
