Up for auction is a 1968 Ford Mustang with the 289 motor in it. I am selling this vehicle for my father as I am also the previous owner for the past 18 years and have done all the work on this vehicle. Below is a list of everything that I have done to the vehicle since I owned it: Painted in original acrylic enamel Brittany Blue Ford paint (painted in 1994) All of interior has been re-done in the correct colors (Dark Blue and Light Blue)...Please note, I have not installed the original 8 track radio in the vehicle due to the fact that I have not found one that I liked yet Every part, including motor, from the windshield up has been restored to factory original parts. Not reproductions! Only reproduced part in the engine bay is the decals and the washer fluid bottle. Dual exhaust was put on several years ago and is a Flowmaster system. Tires are long life Michelins I performed all the work on this vehicle myself except the paint job was professionally done by a friend of mine. This car, since painted, has not been in the rain or weather ever. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage and covered. I very seldom drove this car to keep the mileage down and to keep everything in working order. As of now, the car will fire up easily and drives great. Lots of power in the motor. The motor has a lifter that is sticking and can be easily fixed. I just haven't had the time to do so. Every item works on the vehicle as it did in 1968. Body is in great condition. Vehicle has been VERY documented since I have owned it and have all the invoices, orders, and work done to the car. I also have a letter from Ford Motor Company listing the options the vehicle had at date of build. Letter comes with the vehicle. As I think of more things to describe about this car, I will add it to the listing. I will require a deposit listed below for the winning bidder. I can deliver the vehicle within reason locally only. I will only accept cash for this vehicle since I have had counterfeit money orders, cashier's checks, and other items tried to be presented to me for other vehicles I have sold.
