a good friend asked us to list this bike for him. he brought it out and we cleaned the carbs and fuel tank and put fresh gas in it. we then hooked up a spare battery and kicked it some before it fired. when it did fire up doug almost jumped out of his pants !! a sight i really didn't want to see. the bike sounded great and settled down to nice idle. when we gave it some gas it just answered without any hesitation and returned to the smooth idle that Honda's are known for. there were no strange, unusual or disturbing noises from the engine, just the exhaust !! lol there was some soot out the exhaust initially but it hasn't been ran since 2005 and after that it was just exhaust gas with NO blue or black smoke. the electric starter does spin but doesn't engage to start the engine. with a 350 4 cylinder kicking isn't a problem. those looking for a manly kicking bike see my sportster we just listed . there is a spare starter included too. the paint on the tank and sidecovers looks to be applied with a brush. this bike is no trailer queen but is is a potential cafe racer type bike or just spend some time and use it for a daily rider just the way it is. this is a no reserve auction so one bid can buy this bike. there is a clear Ohio title. this is a numbers matching bike. those bidding without mom's permission please remember this is a legal, binding agreement between mature adults. those with no, little or negative feedback please contact us before bidding or your bid could be cancelled. overseas bids are welcome and we will help in whateve way we can but we do NOT do shipping quotes. possible delivery withing a reasonable distance for a reasonable fee considered. bid with confidence as our feedback reflects our integrity.
