You are bidding on a 1966 Volkswagen SO42 Camper Bus. The Westy interior is complete minus the spice rack. New ABS interior door panels and kick panels by Werksberg. It is painted the original L87 Pearl White and is very presentable. It is daily driven and was built with that in mind. Not a trailer queen but did take second in Vintage Camper Bus and first in Custom Camper Bus at the VW Jamboree in Irvine this past week. It has a strong running 1600 dual port engine and transmission shifts smoothly. The bus was just driven to San Diego down Pacific Coast Highway and back without a hitch. About a 300 mile round trip. There is approximately a thousand miles on tires and bus receives an oil change every two thousand miles. I believe it has the original canvas for pop top which is still in good condition. There are Bus Boys safari windows installed. The dash has been cut to install a newer style Blaupunkt radio and has Kenwood 6x9 speakers in boxes behind the drivers seat. All electrical is working including all interior lights. Ice box is in good working order. There is a crack in one of the Safari windows and one of the panes in Jeolusie windows has a crack. In passenger front floor board there is a rust hole as can be seen in pictures. This bus is a very solid driver and would not take much to get it into the 30000 dollar range. It is an eight footer and can be driven anywhere. A 500 dollar non refundable deposit is due through paypal immediately after auction ends. Rest is due five days after end of auction. Vehicle will not be released till all funds have cleared. Has a clean California title and we welcome International buyers. We had to relist the Bus due to an error in previous wording of payments payments accepted.
