Up for auction is my 1995 Jeep Wrangler with good running 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed transmission. I bought this Jeep a couple weeks ago from a transmission rebuilder north of me to sell on ebay. I am a licensed auto dealer in Ohio and know folks love owning and driving Jeeps. This Jeep is a blast to drive but has a rough body in sections. I have personally driven the Jeep about 30 miles to make sure no odd issues arose and can say it does drive fine down the road. Jeep has many new parts installed and really needs nothing to drive as it is. My wife and I took this Jeep to a local off road park today and Jeep handled fine for a factory vehicle. A clear Ohio title will be provided to winning buyer. Exterior: The body on this Jeep is rough. Rust on the tub and front fenders. Doors are actually rust free. Lights all work, BF Goodrich tires have great tread but showing age with very small cracks between tread. Frame has been repaired on front and rear but still has rust areas as shown in photos. Drivers floor has been replaced with steel. Wipers work. Top in useable condition, drivers door window is ripped and has been taped together. One of the two hood straps is rusted off. Interior: Interior is very basic as Jeeps usually are. Drivers seat stitching has come out in section and foam is exposed. Other seats in useable condition. Carpet front to back but needs glued down again. Seat belts all work. HVAC works as do all gauges. Radio installed but not hooked up. Drivetrain: Motor starts up quickly and has plenty of power for a 4 cylinder. Does not overheat or have excessive oil leakage. Transmission shifts fine and clutch has no slippage. 4x4 works and has no issues climbing hills. The exhaust is factory and quiet. The axles and driveline have no odd noises. I have replaced thermostat and fan clutch, prior owner replaced the water pump and gave engine a full tune up. Front axles have new ball joints and brake components. Rear axle has new brake components. I do not know why ebay states this Jeep has AC but it does not, it does have power brakes and power steering. Terms and Conditions – PLEASE READ!!! The rate of tax to apply is 6 percent. Calculate the other state price (taking into account the above adjustments, such as a trade-in allowance for the purchase of a used car) and apply the rate of tax as listed in the chart above. Collect from the customer the lesser of the two amounts. Sales to residents of any other state not listed in the chart are not subject to Ohio tax, provided the proper affidavit for nonresident sales is completed by the purchases and tendered to the Clerks of Court when application for title is made. If needed, I can provide a temporary tag for a fee of $18.50. Payment A $200.00 deposit is required to be paid via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction closing. Engine runs fine and brakes do not feel like they have any issues, but lights are on. On Aug-23-11 at 22:45:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Due to liability reasons for the frame rust I will be selling this Jeep as a parts Jeep. Yes, I do drive it and would feel comfortable driving it anywhere but I am not able to cover legal issues down the road if something happens. I would suggest having the Jeep inspected by a body shop to get a second opinion so buyer is comfortable with frame. Again, Jeep is being sold for parts due to frame repair and frame rust. Potential buyer can find a body shop near my location; zip code 45002, and I am more than willing to drive it to the shop for them to inspect as long as potential buyer pays for inspection.
