89 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 5-speed I purchased the car used in Nov. of 1990 with 11,000 miles on it. I sold it to my nephew in Nov. of 2002. He has purchased another car and I bought it from him with the intent of giving it to my son, but he doesn't want it. It is still titled in my nephew's name. The title is clear and ready to go. I purchased and installed several new parts for it before my son said he didn't want it. The car is located in Quincy, Illinois in my father's garage. The car will need to be picked up in Quincy. New parts installed: Black 17 inch rims (purchased from American Muscle), weatherstrip kit ( hence the gap around the hatchback and driver shuts hard, the just need broken in), headlights, rear hatch lifts, door arm plugs, interior door bezels, seatbelt sleeves, door panel push pins, exterior door handles, Dynomax exhaust from cats back, radiator overflow bottle, hurst style shift knob, and cold air intake. Kenwood CD stereo with plug in for I-pod. I will also included 4 -16 inch white pony star rims. See picture New clutch was installed in 2010. Only known issues are: small oil leak by rear main seal, speedometer does not read accurately, tachometer does not work, a/c blows cool air, but not ice cold. Crack in molding in front of driver rear tire (see picture) and 2 small dents below drivers door handle above molding. My nephew was a smoker, has a slight odor of smoke. I'm sure that can be taking care, I never tried. We cleaned it up and didn't find any burn marks. Rear seats on the top are faded from the sun (see pictures). Runs and drives great. Looks good inside and out. No major rust issues, just a few spots inside the bottom of the doosr and hatch, see in pictures. Can be driven daily or restored. Car still gets a lot of looks. This is in good condition for its age. It is 22 years old, if it was mint condition the price would be 3 times as much. Not a junker, it is priced right and fair for its condition. Never raced. March 2006 incident reported on Autocheck was vandalism. Drivers window was busted out, both headlights and fog lights were busted. Front bumper was damaged. All was repaired. Updated above and going to answer some questions I got from previous listing. It has the factory gears, power locks and power windows work, all the vin#'s should still be on it. Front bumper cover, both front fenders, both doors from molding down and hatchback have been repainted, due to yellowing. Rest of the paint is original.
