It has been stored since 1972 in dry storage and has never been molested or messed with in any way. The body is straight and totally rust free as is all the undercarriage and chassis. It is a numbers matching car with its original engine matching the data plate. See the Heritage Certificate.The VIN of the car is HDC43/13311 and the body number of this car is 23212. The engine number is BP15GB 3020 which matches the data plate. It has a casting date of 7.3.6 which would make it the correct original engine for this car. It was built the 26th of March, 1956 and is the 3,201 th MGA built making it of course a drum brake car all round. The engine spins over freely and it runs with fuel in the carb throats. The newer fuel pump ticks valiantly but the tank is long dry. I used to drive this car! I owned this car in 2005 after finding it and drove it around for a while just the way you see it. It has now been sitting and will need full restoration of the braking system and clutch hydraulics. It came with wire wheels from the factory and it is an original red car with black interior. Arguably the best combination. You will notice that it did not come with the optional heater as the original California owner decided it was a frivolous extra. This car has a valid non-op California title and it has its California black and yellow plates still attached to the car and able to be transferred. Feel free to message for more photos.
