Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1975 Honda CB360T motorcycle with 1952 miles. This bike appears all original and in excellent condition with less than normal wear for its age. I purchased this bike in June with my Son and he has since settled on a 350 Four. This bike runs great and came to me advertised in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I have had to fix several items to bring it into the current excellent condition. Before I bought the bike based on the sellers description "it had a new battery, new plugs, new air filter, new tires and tubes, new rectifier, adjusted brakes, chains, and cables, new lower gasket set (the original one was weeping) , synchronized the carbs". Since I have had the bike I have had both fork seals replaced, the front caliper cleaned, fixed the leaking petcock, and replaced the gas tank cap seal (this work performed by Phil's Cycle Shop, Phil the Honda Doctor, in Waterford Michigan, successfull bidder will receive the receipts). I have also replaced the tachometer with a brand new NOS year correct one, and replaced the air filters with new NOS, as well as changed the oil to Castrol Actevo 20W50. This bike is now truly in great condition and runs very strong, starts right up, and idles smoothly. It has had the recall accomplished as noted by the two punch marks in the engine case. Everything works as it should! This is a great rider and would make a fine collector base bike. Bike comes with original owners manual and tool kit! Also have Clymer service manual. Known issues: Small scratches in front fender not visible in camera, small scratch on right muffler and some staining, again not very visible, batterry has date of '09 starts and runs bike well, right side case has small mar, and left side case has 360 badge missing clip it nmust have been fixed with adhesive on one end (one clip is present). All of these issues are what I would classify as minor cosmetic flaws typical of a 36 year old bike. I am very particular and will over disclose issues. I will maintain my 100% feedback. This bike is being offered for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I have a clear Michigan title in my name. There are no refunds or warranties bike is being sold as is where is. Local buyers are encouraged to come see for yourself. I saw many for sale at Vintage Days in Ohio last month but none nicer than this.On Aug-20-11 at 18:26:41 PDT, seller added the following information: As seen in the pictures the ignition switch has been relocated to the top and the grips are nice soft padded grips. I went over the bike in detail today (fresh wash and coat of wax for the new owner) and there are buff marks in the front fender and a small area of what I would call more than normal light pitting of the chrome in an area of about 3" in the rear rim. Other wise, mechanically it is near perfect and appearance wise much above average overall. Not trying to "dumb down" the bike just being very honest. If my Son did not settle on the 350 Four we would be very happy with this bike. For the time I have owned it has never failed to receive many compliments.
