Vehicle Detail

This is a 1966 Ford Bronco! It still sports its original 170ci engine. I had the engine rebuilt by Ford in the early 90s. Less then 2500 miles on it since rebuild. I bought the car from Ohio in 1989 and its been in California since.. I dont know how many half cabs where built but .. Not many still exist. This one runs perfect. I am a retired doctor and used this truck to take my dogs to the park everyday from 6 - 630 am before I went to work.I stopped driving it around1998 and its been in storage since. I messed up by changing the tires and adding the tiedowns to the bed as well as added dif side mirrors. I regret this now as it changed the car from original. It would be a perfect candidate for a 100% resoration. It would be fairly easy as it is quite original and everything works. This Bronco will get you anywhere you need to go. I am no expert on Broncos however I want to add in closing... I know the popular choice is the V8 289-302 However..I have thought to myself over the years how many of the original 170 ci models have been altered with V8s? Anyhow its been a very good truck. It will make you smile. It will turn heads. It will run well for a long time to come. At this price... The very first person that looks at this bronco in person will buy it.On Aug-16-11 at 06:20:47 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve is 8,000.00 I wont go lower. This is the last time I list it. I have babied it for 22 years. Its been in a garage or a nice shop since 89. Its body is in great shape NO BONDO straight clean original Arcadian Blue paint on it. The red stripe is the way they came. I rebuilt that original engine by senator ford in sacramento in the early 90s. I only used this bronco on flat city streets and for very short trips. I love it. I dont really know why it hasnt sold with the buy it now. This bronco is probably the best one for sale on ebay. I know. Because I have loved this one for the last 22 years! So IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GREAT BRONCO buy it. It WONT be a headache. It WILL make you smile. As well as it runs..LIKE NEW.. added to it being the very first year and the original engine and being a halfcap in GREAT condition.... Same owner last 22 years... loved and kept in a garage or a nice shop? In California.... What more do you need to see? Its not perfect... What I did to it? Can be switched back easily.. This is a super unmolested for the most part original 1966 bronco... If thats what you want then.... This IS the one you want. Thats it. It either goes this time or I will just hang on to it.... Ecconomy aside... Its a little superstar Bronco. This may not have a new paint job... but its the original one. And....It dosnt look bad. It may not have the 289 or the 302 But its the 1966 original 170 ci and guess what? It runs like a singer sewing machine. It has no bondo all steel is straight. Very little rust. That patch you see in the bed? Is surface rust... That means its basicaly very very light. Can be easily sanded off and solid underneath and ready for paint if thats what you want to do. The mileage? I seriously doubt I put on 2500 miles since 93 when it was rebuilt. I never took it on any long trips. I am a retired doctor..at the time I drove it I drove my 90 Range Rover for my regular driver. Or a BMW M series. I did drive this to work from time to time. But I lived about 2 miles from the hospital I worked at. What more do you want from a Bronco? Hell I wouldnt pass this one up if I was looking for one. I really wouldnt. Anyhow I am done trying to convince you...At this point you either believe me and buy a great Bronco..Or buy another one on here. For alot more money and alot less Bronco.
