Vehicles are listed, described and advertised with information received from previous owners and/or what we notice during the short time we have in our posession. We typically DO NOT know any history, service records, previous repairs or previous issues with these items.....what we know will be listed in the ad.....AND......obviously we cannot predict any future problems, issues or breakdowns on any used vehicle. All items are sold as-is and no warranties are given or implied unless otherwise stated in the ad (some/most of our vehicles qualify for our new warranty program and we will clearly state that in the ad if that is the case). Most of our items are also pictured while on our shop/garge lift....we do this extra step to help you folks feel more comfortable and to help you see as much detail as possible.....we are not your typical "used car dealer" that plays games.....we will do our best to show and tell you everything we know and see with each vehicle. If its got problems, we will tell you. If it has damage, we will tell you. If it has title problems, we will tell you. If we see it, notice it or are told it by previous owner, we will tell you. We do all of our EBAY auctions as a NO RESERVE Auction......this means NO high starting bid, NO rediculous asking price and NO games......High bidder wins the auction and buys the item for his/her winning bid! This means that YOU determine the sale price of the item and we sell the item regardless of the final price.........this has been our policy for over 10 years now on ebay and we find that it works very well for our customers. Our other strong policy is that we DO NOT end auctions early, no matter what! Once one of our auctions gets a bid, it rides out all the way to the very last second.....we do this to be fair to ALL bidders/potential buyers......you do not have to worry about the auction ending early. Item up for auction: 1989 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe with Targa Top (removeable hardtop). Only 96k Original miles! -----------Been sitting for the past year. Item description, features and options: Tuned Port Fuel Injected 5.7L-350 V8 engine, automatic transmission with selectable overdrive, power steering, brakes, mirrors, seat, windows, tilt wheel, Alpine am-fm-cd stereo with removeable face, air conditioning, rear hatch, American Racing Aluminum wheels, digital dash, on board computer center, center console, 4 wheel disc brakes, high back bucket seats, etc.......96,501 original miles on a true 6 digit odometer, reading 096,501. Tire condition: Fronts show some age/weathering and wear with fair tread and rears are recently new with about 75% tread left. Interior condition: Poor condition: seats are torn/ripped, drivers window sill/trim is missing, some dash trim missing, headliner missing fabric, digital dash works but is sometimes dim, etc.....still very useable as a driver but thats it. Both power windows work, dash reads accurately, a/c blows warm, service engine light is sometimes on, one flip up headlight does not work, power locks do not work. Body/Exterior condition: Very straight and solid body!! Not all cracked up or chipped, nice straight body and in great condition!! All good glass too. Underneath condition: Again, very solid and clean original condition. Paint condition: Looks ok and is very presentable but is faded, heavier at some spots. Still looks decent though. Mechanical condition: Seems to be a good runner, starts good, idles smooth and has no odd engine noise or smoke noticed. Battery is ok but if let set for a week or so without being started, it will loose its charge and may need jumped but if started everyday it has no issues. Transmission shifts smooth and positive and car drives/handles the roads very nicely. Front brakes have a squeaking/noise to them and abs light sometimes comes on but nothing major noticed and it stops just fine.....may need new pads/rotors to correct, but again, they work fine. Overall the car seems to really run and drive very well and seems to be a very strong runner! Folks, due to it sitting for the past year and needing some TLC, we are selling as a project car......BUT......we do not see any real problems with driving the car home......it does seem to run and drive fine with no known mechanical failures while we have driven it this past week. *****Selling As-Is but we can offer a 3 month/3,000 mile Drivetrain Plus Warranty with 24 hour roadside assistance and free towing for only.....$195.00 if you wish to add to your purchase!! Other notes: Good miles, strong runner, good driver and nice straight/solid body on this used corvette. Needs some TLC here and there, should be serviced/gone over and inspected before driving much and needs minor work in some areas but still a Corvette that runs and drives very well and has low miles.
