1927 Real Steel Body Roadster Pickup Truck. titled as a 1924 roadster pick up truck.LICENSED AND REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA. The Truck is unique and not your standard rusted out T bucket. Almost perfect . a good Solid hot Rod . I have now been Driving it for 3 years only problem I ever had is a lose ignition wire. I Like Things That Go-fast So My Idea was lighter is faster also I want mileage and some comfort. I am 5.9 and 200 pounds of solid muscle well almost. I live in auburn ca and driven this rat hundreds of miles at a sitting. and when I get out I am not crippled as some rides like this will due to you. the floor in the cab was altered the angle at the foot area was squared of. this gives you a good 5" of extra foot room so your legs aren't in your gut driving around. the two seats are upholstered buckets that fit in to the seat frame plenty of cushion the floor has been replaced so it is solid. the doors open no jumping over the doors.most weld them shut this way you don't have to due a lot of work. I cut in 2 holes in to the inside of the doors for speakers. installed speakers but never installed a radio. but it is ready to due so. there are new gages oil water amp fuel. fuel oil voltage water temperature gage. fuel gage works when ever it feel like it. the windshield is chopped lowered. HAS A CRACK IN IT AT PRESENT TIME WILL BE REPLACED BEFORE YOU GETTHE CAR. DROVE IT YESTERDAT AND GOT HIT BY A ROCK. and I have a model a windshield wiper just for my cop buddies'. rear view mirror all vintage side mirror and a small style spotlight. all in working order. was not easy to find a small spotlight they all are made for the bigger trucks. the front suspension on the drop axle is reversed so I can get the front lower also has shock absorbers. there is no difference in the ride quality. it drives and is steady on the road even at 90 miles an hour. the rear has airbag suspension I inflate the airbags with a simple tire air compressor. included in the package. also has shocks. the front brakes are disc and it stops on a dime. rear drum brakes brakes straight no pull to the right or left. on a 5 lug Toyota axle same as small ford pattern. also a bit narrower. this helps with the tires not sticking out so far.also looks better in proportion. 30 mpg. an old fellow retiring from racing datsuns at the track he built the engine with a nice little cam. by the time he got done he was to old to race. brake master cylinder is in the rear stops on a dime. so it don't show up front also I moved the battery its under the cowl. you can see it true the cowl wind flap. its not in the way of anything. the bed has the original T gas tank in it and the bed can be tilted up to service the brake master . I also have a removable lightweight aluminum letheret cloth covered hardtop. SO IT IS ALSO A OPEN ROADSTER and I altered the top so it opens making the axess easy for me i way 200 pounds 5.9 tall. the truck like a gulling Mercedes. rear bumper is constructed from a chrome truck step tail light is old school so the entire ride. I found perfect looking rims with spinners. exhaust pipe is on the drivers side and the muffler has a protective hand over the end for no leg burn.I came up whit this after I fried my leg getting out of the car. OUCH . I have driven this car to la from auburn California 650 miles one way. she tracks straight when you let go of the wheel. and she is as fast as my buddies 350 chevys. 30 miles per gallon is a good gas saver. has a standard distributor and is also wired for a electronic one if you want to change to electronic distributor all you will need is the distributor all other components are installed. THE ALL STEEL CUSTOM ROADSTER HAS A 3 STAGE PAINT JOB BLACK RED OXIDE PRIMER AND CLEAR THE RED OXIDE PRIMER IS SANDED TO HAVE THE LOOK OF WORN PAINT. 4-speed ALSO CALLED A DATSUN 1200 THE ENGINE HAS A RACING CAM AND A 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH A MC TILTON COMPETITION CLUTCH. OTHER THING I FORGOT I AVE A TOW BAR I BUILT TO TOW TE CAR WITH. I WILL THROW THE TOW BAR IN WITH THE CAR BECAUSE ITS CUSTOM BUILT AND WONT BE GOOD FOR ANY OTHER CAR.
