1970 Triumph GT-6+. There are two Triumph GT6+ cars available and both are for sale. This auction is for the all red car VIN 76458KD. ENGINE I.D. KD76939E. Condition is as follows: Restorable or for parts. All parts are original and are in good shape. Origianal engine and all ancillary parts are there. Frame appears to be solid but I cannot guarantee structural soundness of the car or any component of the car as they have been sitting for quite some time. Undercarriage sheetmetal is rusted out. Bonnet in good shape, not dented up, louvers are straight (which is rare) and rust is to a minimum. Lower quarters are rusted as you can see in pics. All sheetmetal parts are available new. Rooflines are straight. Doors hang tight. Doors are not dented up. Engine is complete and original. Stromberg carbs etc. all original and good condition. All the hard to find parts are there. Interior: Seat frames are there, dash complete with gauges all there, wood dash is there and can make a good template. These dashes are made from plywood with a veneer overlay. Take the original lay if over Birch finish grade plywood, trace around it and cut it out. Good for parts as the original parts are getting harder to find. There is no pressure in the brake system. Trannys are not overdrive trannys. I have bill of sale from owner of the red car, an Alfa Romeo repair center. There is a title to the gray car but I don't have it. sorry, I just don't have time to chase it. However, I am selling these cars as parts cars. Gray car has overhauled cylinder head. Look at pics, it's all there. This car is for sale as well. Will need to be trailered or towed. $150.00 Non-Refundable Deposit required at end of auction. Car needs to be removed from property by purchaser. If you need reasonable time to remove the car that is fine. I will not guarantee the safety of the car or cars while they are waiting to be removed. The vehicles are in a safe location in general but I won't be able to insure them. Please don't ask me to "part-out" little nickle and dime parts from the cars. If you want a major share of the parts off these cars I will consider that and haul off the shells for scrap. Make your list and offer. That being said, my intent is to sell them both in whole. So again, this auction is for the all red car. Be sure to see the other Triumph GT in about the same condition as this car. It is the car to the left in primer gray and red. Great opportunity for a good winter project.
