1999 MAZDA MX-5 MIATA FOR SALE; 153624 MILES This has been my personal vehicle for the past 8 years. Purchased used from Mazda dealer in MD. It has been garage kept & mostly highway miles. The engine is strong & starts immediately. It is completely road-worthy; I recently drove it on a 300mi trip. It has current NJ inspection sticker good until 10/12. Highlights:Power windowsOEM single CD playerOEM alloy wheels; Tires less than 20,000miNew Clutch recently installed; less than 3,000miNew Battery 6/11 Issues:There is a rust patch (see detail photo) on passenger rocker/rear quarter panel. I understand this is common for Miatas. My local body shop indicates this can be replaced to be in new condition.There is a minor dent (see detail photo) on the front drivers front fender.The windshield is cracked (see detail photo) this would need to be replaced to pass state inspections. If in NJ, state inspection is not due until 10/12Drivers Seat has minor tear (see detail photo)Soft top needs replacing; note tears in seams (see detail photo); rear defrost window is clear & intact; therefore vehicle can pass inspection.Latches on glove box and console broken, but can be opened and locked Otherwise, paint looks good, original owners manual included. Original L-shaped Miata wrench is missing Pickup/shipping is responsibility of buyer, but I will work with one within reason to ease delivery.
