This is an original GM built electric S10 truck , which used the same propulsion system as the famous EV1 electric car, the GM System 110 AC power electronics . Not many of these trucks still exist due the fact most were leased vehicles and recalled by GM and subsequently crushed along with the EV1's . This one was originally purchased by Disneyland and used in their underground world as a quiet and pollution free transport vehicle . I brought this truck in 2006 , after a new ( refreshed) Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack was installed and other critical electronic systems have been upgraded . Since then I've had the Filter capacitors replaced (another critical component) and a new set of Dunlop LLR tires installed . The condition of the body is typical for a truck with as many miles as this one , the worst dent is pictured from the left rear of the truck bed . The interior is in fair shape , with only one spot in the seat that's worn through . This truck has a Pioneer HD radio with satellite too (activation required for sirius radio) Mechanically this truck runs perfectly with no know trouble codes or problems . I can get 35 or 40 miles on a charge . Included with the auction are three inductive charging stations (large paddle) , you can install one at home and one at your place of employment like I did and never have to buy gas . This truck is still driven almost daily so the actual mileage on the odometer will be a little greater . I'm retired now that's why selling the truck , any questions ? Thank You , EVweirdo .
