I am the second owner of this bike. I bought it four years ago with 1,444 miles from the original owner. It was absolutely bone stock, and pristine. It was not a barn find, but rather a airplane hangar find where it lived in a heated environment with its Lear jet, and Ferrari stablemates. Fluids changed, and started regularly whether it was being ridden or not. In the last 6 thousand miles the only thing I have done to customize the bike has been limited to a set of barbaks. Other than that, new tires, a couple of oil changes, a good battery, and the 6k service was done right on time.The bike has all of the options available at the time. ABS, heated grips,color matched bags with there own key, temp, fuel, gear indicator, clock, etc. etc.The RSL variant is the one with the lower faring. They where only imported for the first few years, and are by far a better looking bike than the standard RS.This bike has NEVER been down. Not a scratch on either cylinder head. Truly just starting to get broken in.It starts, and runs perfectly. Absolutely no surprises.The only flaws you will find on this bike are a few heal marks on the side cases, and a slight mark across the front fender. I am reluctant to call these scratches, as I dont think the paint is even really scratched. You know what a heel mark looks like. Look at the photos for as good of a representation as I can give.I know these bikes are legendary for high milage riders. I come across them with over 100k on occasion.
