I am selling my 2000 Cherokee. I purchased it in 2009 and have only put on a whopping 10k on it in that time frame, probably due to the fact that I own 5 vehicles. My wife wants it gone. So the good stuff first, it has every available option except heated seats. Some of the good features are, leather, 6 spkr Infinity CD,Selec Trac, Trak Lok rear end, Skid plate group (front, t-fer case, fuel tank, and tow hooks) 16 in aluminum wheels, Up Country suspension (1 in factory lift, heavy duty coils/leaf), Tow Pkg(HD radiator, tranny cooler, CL III hitch) 124 amp alternator, Heated power mirrors. Whats been added.... 1.5 inch Rustys Offroad shackle/spacer lift, transfer case 1 inch drop, magnaflow muffler, all new center bearings, u-joints, hubs/ wheel bearings on the front axle, Royal Purple in both diffs, Auto Trans flush and fill at the dealer, 4 new Infinity speakers, new adjustable track bar, tie-rod ends, draglink, and center link,O2 sensor 4 ProComp ES3000 shocks, and 5 Treadwright tires (32"). The Jeep is pretty clean for the amount of miles. I am the second owner and have the receipts showing a new water pump and alternator at 140k. The Cherokee rides rougher than my last one due to stiffer springs and HD shocks, On the bigger potholes it actually rides better. Everything works, exept the cruise indicator light doesn't come on even tho it works.The AC is nice and cold, and the Jeep always starts right up and shifts very smooth. Body wise it has 150k worth of paint chips and minor dings, no large dents, the bottom of the drivers door has a rust area(see pic).The spare tire doesn't fit in the back so it rides on top. The brush guard is actually a dealer installed option. The engine runs smoothly but has a tick when its cold, I was informed by a 15 yr Chrysler/Jeep mechanic that it is piston slap due to Jeep Molycoating their piston skirts in an effort to quiet the engine down. He talked me OUT of an engine rebuild so I took his word for it.The Jeep handles great even with the oversize tires, it used to wobble but the adjustable track bar and an alignment cured that. The only thing I would change is the sway bar links, they make a popping noise when I go around corners. The drivers seat has a small tear in the side otherwise the interior is in good shape. I live in Palo Iowa so if you are local and want to look at it just email me.On Aug-05-11 at 18:09:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Update on the vehicle, I ran in to town yesterday and noticed the cruise control isnt working, I have been in Afghanistan for a year and the Jeep sat a lot and my wife didn't mention that it didn't work, also the passenger side window switch is intermittent like the ground is bad, the drivers side switch for the pass. side is fine and the motor/window operates fine. I also noticed there is a small chip in the windshield on the pass. side that I didn't note in my description.Also I forgot to mention that it has the overhead trip computer/compass/outside temp (works fine)
