It was featured in a Musle Car Mag after restoration less than 1000 Miles ago. All the chrome and stainless is in NICE condition !! The paint on this car is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL for sure !!. It drives down the road straight and handles like a GTO should and DEFINATELY has MUSCLE CAR POWER !! THIS IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE !! The chrome exterior mirror is nice, all the body bushings are new, the front end has been rebuilt. This GTO has a "GROUND POUNDING" 400 CID (Shown in several pictures below). The "YS" block number on the back of the block is (481988) and the heads are "Edelbrock Performers". It has Eagle rods, Ross forged pistons, all ballanced and blueprinted, with a Comp solid roller cam, Holly 850 carb, and Hooker headers, pumping out a Beastly 400+ HP and 500+ Ft Lbs of torque, at the rear wheels. This is a tire smoking MONSTER!! This car also has a Re-built TH400 3-speed Automatic transmission with a Hughes Torque converter and a B&M stage II shift kit, that functions perfectly. AND get this it still has the ORIGINAL HIS and HERS Shifter. It is all Backed by a Ford 9' positraction rear end by Moser Racing with 3.50 gears, forged axles and Dick Miller adjustable control arms. Tire smoking power that sounds great too with the "throaty" 3" dual exhaust system, your friends will hear you coming when you put the hammer down on this bad boy. It is nicely equipped including power steering, power brakes with disc's on the front, factory Am radio not installed, factory tach (currently using the electronic ignition Autometer tach, chrome exterior mirror, front and back seat belts, good heater and defroster, convertible top with glass rear window, front 1.25" Trans Am anti sway bar, and a full set of original rally wheels, full Autometer Gauge Package, and Aluminum High flow radiator. This Convertible is such a fun driver !!! I drove this GTO for a couple of days in town and on the freeway and I have to tell you it was AWESOME to drive. The gears were plenty tall for the freeway and it cruised along at 65 MPH @ 2500 RPH with TIRE SMOKING power to spare. It drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes, it was 100 degrees and it stayed rock solid at 190 degrees. This car is a blast to drive, I had such fun driving it!! I dont know if I have ever driven another car that get this many looks, and "thumbs-up" as this car. This vehicle is in FANTASTIC condition from top to bottom and from front to back. We have a free and clear Idaho title for this car . THIS IS A STUNNING - QUALITY VEHICLE !! This GTO has a "GROUND POUNDING" 400 CID (Shown in several pictures below). The "YS" block number on the back of the block is (481988) and the heads are "Edelbrock Performers". It has Eagle rods, Ross forged pistons, all ballanced and blueprinted, with a Comp solid roller cam, Holly 850 carb, and Hooker headers, pumping out a Beastly 400+ HP and 500+ Ft Lbs of torque, at the rear wheels. This is a tire smoking MONSTER!! This car also has a Re-built TH400 3-speed Automatic transmission with a Hughes Torque converter and a B&M stage II shift kit, that functions perfectly. AND get this it still has the ORIGINAL HIS and HERS Shifter. It is all Backed by a Ford 9' positraction rear end by Moser Racing with 3.50 gears, forged axles and Dick Miller adjustable control arms. Tire smoking power that sounds great too with the "throaty" 3" dual exhaust system, your friends will hear you coming when you put the hammer down on this bad boy. It is nicely equipped including power steering, power brakes with disc's on the front, factory Am radio not installed, factory tach (currently using the electronic ignition Autometer tach, chrome exterior mirror, front and back seat belts, good heater and defroster, convertible top with glass rear window, front 1.25" Trans Am anti sway bar, and a full set of original rally wheels, full Autometer Gauge Package, and Aluminum High flow radiator. This Convertible is such a fun driver !!! I drove this GTO for a couple of days in town and on the freeway and I have to tell you it was AWESOME to drive. The gears were plenty tall for the freeway and it cruised along at 65 MPH @ 2500 RPH with TIRE SMOKING power to spare. It drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes, it was 100 degrees and it stayed rock solid at 190 degrees. This car is a blast to drive, I had such fun driving it!! I dont know if I have ever driven another car that get this many looks, and "thumbs-up" as this car. This vehicle is in FANTASTIC condition from top to bottom and from front to back. We have a free and clear Idaho title for this car . THIS IS A STUNNING - QUALITY VEHICLE !! It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find Muscle Car Convertible. The Yellow finish on this vehicle is a STUNNING - EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL paint job. The Black interior is all nice with Power front driver's bucket seat and reclining passenger bucket, both with headrests, nice black rear bench seat, nice black door panels, nice black carpeting, nice black sun visors, brand nice black dash pad, nice front and rear seat belts, nice dash with correct wood grain applique', nice wood look steering wheel and nice rally gauge cluster including 120 mph speedometer and tach. Yellow with black interior and top, what a GORGEOUS color combination !! How could you get any better !!? Check out the NICE Crager Street star wheels white lettered BF Goodrich radial tires boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING and really retains that muscle car look !! I looked underneath and it is nearly as nice underneath as it is on top ! (see included photos of the undercarriage below). Any rust that was found on the car was cut out and replaced with correct metal panels that were manufactured for the 68' GTO.
