Up for Auction is this 1965 Ford Mustang Vintage Drag Car ! I don't know much about the history of this neat old race car but I can tell the work was done a long time ago. It would be a cool car to restore and race or perhaps put a straight axle under it and make an old gasser hot rod. The roll cage is homemade from back in the 60's and would not pass the current tech inspection ! This car has no engine or trans but does include a 9inch rear-end. I do not know what the rear gear ratio is. All the glass is in good shape. All of the original front and rear windshield moldings and drip rail molding is on the car and in very good condition. The body is actually very straight and solid. The front and rear frame rails are real solid, however the front frame rail extension in the very front will need patching.. ( under the battery tray and the other side about 4-6 inches ) The cowl, fender aprons, doors, fenders, trunk floor and quarter panels are also real solid ! The floorpans have a little rust that will eventually some repair but nothing real bad. The clutch pedals are still in the car. The only seat in the car is the driver's seat, however I can include a correct passenger side front bucket seat... I have 2 barns stuffed full of early mustang parts. I do not have a title for this car. Being sold for off-road use or for parts only. You can obtain a title from several of the title services if you wanted to restore it and put back on the road. I can obtain a title for an additional $300 and it will take approx. 2 weeks. Let me know if you have any questions ?
