1995 FORD E350 CUTAWAY VAN WITH "DIAMOND" COACH (COONS MFG) SINGLE WHEELS IN REAR SEATS (EXCEPT DRIVER'S) REMOVED SEPARATE REAR HEAT AND AIR MODULES (NOT WORKING) PERFECT FOR BUDGET MOTOR HOME OR LIMO CONVERSION INSPECTED AND REPAIRED NEW STARTER AND BALL JOINTS READY FOR WORK! For sale: A 1995 Ford E350 van in good condition. Body is a municipal or limo-style fiberglass passenger coach by Diamond, and installed by Coons Manufacturing. We operate a fleet in the Detroit area, and this van was inspected by our state-certified mechanic. Here's the inspection and repair results: - A new starter and ball joints were installed. - Engine has good compression all around, does not blow any smoke, and returns 11 to 13 MPG on highway (with heavy load). - Auto trans does not leak and shifts well. - Brakes are better than 50%. - About 1,000 miles on new oil and filter. - Tires are about 40%. Spare tire holds air. - Headlights, high beams, tail lights, turn signals and emergency lights all work. - Radio works, but buttons sometimes stick. No CD. - Wipers and washer work. - Factory heat and defrost works. - Driver's seat is a recent upgrade and in good condition with NO rips or tears. - Truck is fitted with factory air, but this does not work (no belt on compressor) and we did not inspect it further. - Expensive secondary air and heat systems for the passenger compartment are installed (see pix of overhead AC unit), but not working and we didn't check them. - Overhead roof vent is fully functional and does not leak (see pix). - Wide-load outside rear view mirrors are intact. - Flip-out passenger windows and cab roll-up windows work. - The bar that allows the driver to open the front double-doors from his seat is missing - these doors are now controlled with a small lever at the top. The other two van doors and the driver-side van door are fully operational including functioning locks. - There is a small amount of surface rust around the front passenger doors and the bottom of the front wheel wells (see pix). No rust-through anywhere on the van. Two seams on the top of the bus were coated with fiberglass, possibly to prevent leaks (see pix). We bought this van in Kansas. The purchase included the van and some large, expensive cleaning equipment that was bolted down inside the van. I drove the van from Kansas to Detroit in one weekend. I did not experience a single mechanical issue aside from tire blowout. Truck handled well in several rain storms and never leaked. Our fleet is complete and we never wanted the van. We wanted the cleaning equipment only, but it was cheaper to buy the van and drive it home than to disassemble the equipment and ship it. Now that we have removed the cleaning equipment, we are selling the van. You can stand up in the rear of this truck with plenty of head room. Would make a good budget limo or motor home conversion. Would make a good work truck with huge internal volume for parts, tools, ladders, etc.
