You are bidding on a 1974 Chevy Monte Carlo in this NO RESERVE auction. This car has always been adult owned. It runs and drives very well. Cruises smoothly at highway speeds. Less than 75,000 actual miles. The A/C blows cold. 350 v8 with 4-barrel quadrajet, TH350 transmission, and dual exhaust. This car has been very reliable and can be driven daily. This a low mileage car, but that does not mean mint condition, perfect, or show car. It shows signs of age just like any other car does. Please study the photos and ask questions. You are welcome and encouraged to look at the vehicle in person before you bid. The paint and body work have some flaws, some of which may be hard to see in the photos, but the car is presentable and gets plenty of compliments and attention. Please look closely at the area between the rear window and the trunk lid, and around the wheelwells. Previous repair work is evident, but passable for an everyday driver. The air conditioning system has been professionally upgraded to 134a refrigerant, so it blows nice and cold. The tires are General brand tires, a matching set with very good tread. All 4 tires have been recently balanced and have had new valve stems installed. The passenger side power window motor has already been replaced, and has a lifetime warranty from NAPA, but the window does not yet go up and down smoothly as the track still needs to be lubricated and adjusted. The battery seems to be getting weak and should probably be replaced before winter, although it has not let me down yet. The low beam headlight on the passenger side needs to be replaced. The high beams work fine. This is a very reliable and comfortable car that has proven itself time and again. It is comfortable to drive and frequently receives compliments.
