Up for sale is my 2001 Volkswagen New Beetle. I bought this car four months ago for my mother and she never drives it. The only time it moves is when I take it to work once every two weeks. It now needs some mechanical work done to it and i do not have the time to fix a car that i do not use. So my loss is your gain. The good thing about this car is that it is fully loaded with everything. power windows, power locks, power mirrors, mirror defrosters, tilt, cruise control, power gas cap, power trunk, leather seats, power sunroof, driver airbag, passenger air bag, side airbags, turbo, heated driver and passenger seats, ac, cassette am/FM, keyless entry, Lo Jack. I don’t know what this is called but if you put the key in the driver side door and hold the key down to open the door it will also open the windows in the car ,and if you hold it down to lock it then it will close the windows including the sunroof. The bad things about this car are. The driver side window does not go down or up. The window regulator is bad and needs to be replaced, this part cost about 40$. This part is very common to go out on the bugs. the driver side lether seat has a tear in it about 3in long but is an easy fix no big deal. Now the big deal is the turbo is leaking oil into the intercooler. To get the turbo rebuilt will cost about 300$ and then a new intercooler used here on ebay is 120$ or less. Four months ago i paid 4900$ for this car right here on eBay. I do not plan to get even close to that because of its condition now. Like i stated is my loss is your gain.
