Vehicle Detail
I am the original owner and purchased this car from Bale Honda, in Little Rock, AR. This vehicle is in excellent mechanical and operational condition. By that, I mean all of the controls, buttons, stereo, etc. inside the car function properly. The car has no odd sounds when operating either inside or outside the car, all lights function, and it drives just as it did the day I bought it. The car has brand new Sumitomo tires (90%+ tread left) which I chose because they are a top rated Consumer Reports tire. The car includes a Honda cargo cover accessory (original $129, wholesale ~ $75). The car has Honda Fit rubber mats instead of carpet. The workmanship of the car is also good to excellent and from a distance does not look its age. The few times the car has been serviced has all been done by the dealer when instructed to do so by its maintenance minder. I have kept all maintenance records. Close inspection will reveal some flaws (see next paragraph). The only mechanical item that might need attention within 1 year (that I am aware of) is probably the brake pads since the brakes have a bit more "play" than they did when brand new. The brakes do not squeak though. Bale Honda also recommends having the "low beam headlight switch" repaired for free due to an open recall. The car was involved in one accident late last year, which was essentially a fender bendor speed accident (15-20mph collision), which damaged both the front and rear. In stop-and-go traffic, the rear car collided with me and pushed me into the car in front of me. The body work was approximately $2200 total, and was repaired by a USAA certified repair shop. The parts that were replaced/needed repair were the front and rear bumper, the hood, and the driver's side front quarter panel. In my opinion, installation of the replacement pieces was excellent and the only flaws that are apparent to me are on the front bumper, and the very slight difference in paint tone, which again is only noticeable when inspecting very close. There was no damage done to the frame, and the car did not drive odd in any way after the repair. Other flaws with the car include 3 small dings on the passenger side, and about 6-8 small scratches on the paint. There is also some slight wear on one side of the rear seat because I had a booster chair there for a while. All-in-all, this vehicle's overall condition easily grades "Good", but I think given its excellent mechanical and operational condition, that it would be on the upper end of "good". I am selling the car because my wife and I bought a new (larger) car to better fit our family size. My "buy-it-now" price is based on Kelly Blue Book "good" value for private party, and I think anyone would get a great car for that price. I did my best to remember everything, both positive and negative, but if you have any more questions, feel free to call me at 501-749-9006. Please do not call to offer other products or services. Thanks! - Bradley
