This 1970 Plymouth GTX has a fantastic original color combination of Vitamin "C" Orange with a black vinyl top and white interior also black hood stripes and black side stripes. From the factory it came with a 440 HP motor and 727 automatic transmission. Some of the options were three speed wipers, air conditioning and power steering, heavy-duty suspension and a 323 posi traction rear end. , The GTX has the correct number matching motor that just had a $5,000 total rebuild. It does not have the numbers matching automatic transmission. At some time it was converted to a four speed transmission,still has the peddles and four speed hump. Currently has a 727 automatic transmission installed and it comes with a correct console and shifter mechanism. All of the brackets and pulleys for the car are included. Have just totally rebuilt the front end. The GTX comes equipped with disc brakes up front and drums on the rear, new lines and wheel cylinders have been installed. I have all the chrome and its in nice shape, the honeycomb grille and headlight bezels are in excellent shape. The bumpers will need to be re-chromed The GTX has 33,000 original miles it was built in the California plant, sold in California, and eventually moved to Arizona and later Texas.The only rust is some on the roof and lower part of the quarters and trunk floor. There is absolutely no rust on the frame rails or any of the floors. There is no need for any inner fenders or trunk drop-offs, this car is positively no rust bucket. It comes with original interior but missing the carpet and the headliner, has a rally dash and a.m. radio. The car comes with at least 99% of all parts needed to restore and there might also be a few extra parts.
