Vehicle Detail
Original owner selling a low mileage 2004 Infiniti QX56 SUV. This was our family car until we upgraded to the 2011 model this year. Always was a non-smoking vehicle. This is a very reliable truck-type body large SUV. One of the reasons we bought it was its large engine relative to other SUVs, 5.6L 315 hp V8. It accelerates nicely and has a nice ride relative to other SUVs and mini-vans. The exterior color is called "Cobalt Blue" but it can look dark green in certain lighting conditions. Kinda of an optical blue/green. Interior is "Graphite Leather". It has 4 wheel drive with 2W, Auto, 4W Low and 4W High settings. The first row rear seat is a split bench. It comes with a fold down flat third row seat that seats three. The SUV is wide enough to fit three kid car seats in the second row. It was factory upgraded to include an XM satellite radio. Also comes with a factory DVD system that has a fold down second row screen. Has the optional sun roof package so the roof can open up. Also has a backup camera. We used it to tow a camping trailer about six times, so it has an installed electric brake controller, and of course the factory tow package. Unlike the current generation of QX56, this one has a much higher tow capacity of 10,000 pounds. Other than driving into ordinary camping sites, we've never taken this off-road. This comes with almost new tires, only 3,500 miles old (they were replaced at 59,648). Also has a full spare (never used). Registration valid until June 2012, and I literally just did an oil change. I have ALL SERVICE RECEIPTS and can email you a PDF of them, just ask. I tried to highlight all the dings, dents and scratches in the pictures. Significant items include a front fender corner scrape where I got too close to a wall. There is also a puncture in the front fender when I inched up too close to someone's tow hitch in a line up - the front fender is plastic of course. There is a small dent in the rear lower quarter panel. And along the right passenger door, there are dings and dents from the neighboring car in the garage opening into it. Inside, there are scratches on every plastic seat and door panel. There are no leather seat punctures, and the front dash is fine. Comes with manuals, two keys, but only one wireless key fob. About a year ago, I somehow lost one of the key fobs. Overall, this is a great SUV and has been very reliable for us. I've always used synthetic oil in it and it has had all the regular service.
