1982 Suzuki GS 300 L with 8880 original miles ( Yes, eight thousand eight hundred eighty ). I purchased this bike from the owner 2 years ago so "the wife" could learn to ride. She has and now has a Sportster. Upon purchase of this bike I took it to the local cycle shop. It had a tune-up, valve job, oil change & filter, and the carbs cleaned, plus an overall inspection. Last month, it went in for its annual oil change and inspection so everything is up to date. Price: The cycle shop owner said if it was on his floor he would have it for sale at $1850.00. He said for its overall excellent condition and the fact it is rarer than Hondas, Yamahas, and Kawasakis of its era, it could bring more. I will sell it to the highest bidder with No Reserve. Condition: The bike from day one has been kept in a heated - climate control garage. As a result, the paint is shiny, the chrome is bright, and their is minor oxidation. There has been no accidents or body work done to it. For 29 years old, its in great shape! (there are some Minor scratches & dings as you would expect for its age). Everything functions as it should. All guages and buttons work. The battery is 1 year old, the tires are 5 years old (Im told) with less than a 1000 miles on them, the seat has no rips, the pipes are fine, the grips are solid, etc...
