Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE QUESTIONS.....Rare 73 big block Charger, 400 HP 4bbl, with pistol grip 4-speed. R/T sway bars front and rear. Has 72 grille and hideaway headlights, and they work. As far as I can find, there were just about 271 built like this. Numbers matching engine, trans. Car has factory A/C, P/S, P/B, rally dash, center console, buckets. Engine and trans have approx 30K on them, although I do not have documents proving this, but the motor runs quiet, no smoke, good oil pressure etc... Engine has fresh oil change, new plugs. Runs and drives, but clutch is at the end of it's life. 8 & 3/4 sure grip with 3:23 gears. Fender tag, no broadcast sheet. Yes, these are the original colors.... Car had a white vinyl top, unfortunately it sat outside for a while and the roof now has some holes, nothing that can't be repaired, but the rust on the roof and the right rear quarter are the most serious work that it needs body-wise. Being a life long Colorado car, it is extremely solid underneath, floors, frame rails, trunk floor etc... all in very nice shape. I lightly sanded the roof and sprayed one light coat of self etch primer on it but it will need to be media blasted to be repaired properly. I have all the trim that I removed during vinyl top removal. All you Mopar fanatics will easily de-code the fender tag and VIN, and some of you will note that the cowl stamp, and the radiator support stamp ( couldn't photo with radiator in place) match the VIN with the exception of 1 digit, which we can assume is a Mother Mopar faux pas.... it's just the body numbers that are a digit off, engine, trans, dash vin and fender tag all match, the sequential numbers are 215980, where the body stamp is 225980, so I think it's one of those weird things, everything checks out numbers wise on this car. Yes, the Rally -R/T hood was not original, and I've had some folks want to buy it off me, but of course it looks much better on the car than the flat one, which I do not have, and you would probably want this sportier hood on it in the end anyway. Car can be driven with just a little more work, steering pump leaks, clutch, and some suspension bushings. The brakes are good, tires are old etc... Let me know if there are other specific pictures you need and I will try to provide them. Car needs to be saved, and it's worth it, how many big block 4-speed later B bodies have you seen???? As always, if you are able, I encourage you to inspect the car in person, I am in the foothills southwest of Denver if you are able to get here. Clear Colorado title.Shipping is at the expense of the buyer, as well as the logistics of shipping the car. I will help with coordinating pick up by transport etc.... Feel free to ask those questions that I have not answered here, and I'll reply as soon as I can. NO, I'm not going to give you the reserve price, suffice it to say, I think it's reasonable for this car given it's somewhat rare status, as most were automatics or small blocks. On Jul-19-11 at 21:17:47 PDT, seller added the following information: ALSO: Rare factory rear window defrost!! On Jul-22-11 at 08:37:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: I do have the opera window moldings for the rear quarter glass, it is white in in good condition, as well as all the vinyl top mouldings and trim. I removed it when taking the remnants of the vinyl off, but it is here and will come with the car.
