The only way to avoid this is to weld the cam gears in place which has been done on this car. These motors are known to run for 200k miles without issues if the cams are welded. I purchased this car from a friend in August 2010 with 114k miles on it. I have put almost 17k all highway miles on it since with no issues at all. This car runs awesome and will continue to run awesome. Unlike many of the other SHO's this car does not have the typical rotted rocker panels or rear 1/4's. There are no warranties expressed or implied with the sale of this vehicle. The car is sold as is, where is no exceptions. A $250 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction ending.
