This 1999 Ford Contour Has a Clean Title, it is a 4 Door Sedan CNG HYBRID/ DUAL FUEL. It's a "Bi-fuel Hybrid Vehicle" which can run on either regular unleaded gas or CNG/ Natural Gas, CNG is as low as 99 cents per gallon (GGE) in some area's, practically No Emissions, less volatile than Gasoline, engine life is significantly extended since Natural Gas is less corrosive. The engine is the same as the regular ford contour. No special mechanic is needed for repairs. The CNG system is factory installed, NOT an aftermarket retrofit. This Car has NO mechanical issues. No check engine lights ect.. This car has been maintained, owned and ran on both CNG & Gasoline by the County Government here in NY for the last 10 years. SOME STATES will give you at tax credit or discount for this car. I Have 2 keys and the operational books for this car. THIS CAR WAS JUST SERVICED AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP HERE 2 days ago on 7/14/2011, THEY SERVICED THE COMPLETE CNG SYSTEM and did some work that was covered under the ford factory warranty. It's running beautifully The receipt from ford will be provided. The exterior; is Finished in a Shinny Black Paint and looks as if it has been cared for. However It does has some minor door dings, scrapes and scratches (a scratch particularly a scratch across the trunk, I will have my body shop guy touch it up with paint). There's a spot on the drivers side fender, at the bottom of the wheel well under the LX and Leaf logo that the paint is bubbling. ( as Pictured) There's also a picture of the, not so bad, but pronounced scratch across the trunk. There's the normal wear on the exterior as to be expected on a 12 year old car. The interior; is a pleasure. Light Gray cloth upholstery throughout, Very clean, Air Conditioning, Heat, Am/FM radio power windows and door locks. The Mechanical; The car runs good. I believe that an issue with most/some of these cars is that they have a slight rough idle sometimes at a stand still. But drive smooth while driving. However, the car just had a few things done, COMPLETE TUNE-UP, new spark plugs, wires, gas filter, and air filter, OIL CHANGE, A NEW RECYCLED AC COMPRESSOR, and a complete AC system service, new motor mounts, drive belt and pulley, and the receipts will be provided. I just want to be thorough since I am selling the car online here on Ebay and the buyer, isn't getting a firsthand account or seeing the car in person. If you would like to you're more than welcome. I am happy to do the reconditioning, to help make sure that the new buyer/ winning bidder has many miles of carefree driving. The transmission shifts strong and smooth. Both upshifting and downshifting. The brakes are firm and hard. The only thing that I know of that the new owner will have to pay attention to is DRIVING!!! The imperfections; There's also a couple of inches notched out of the moulding on driver side & passenger side doors it was done so that the county's logo would fit snug. The logo has been removed as pictured and the door looks as it should. Minus what was notched out the moulding. The bottom of the dashboard where it meets the windshield is showing signs of heat warping from the sun.
