Up for Auction is a 1981 Mercedes 240 D 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder DIESEL ENGINE. RUNS WELL! AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION which shifts good. A/C System is complete but does not work, probably needs charged. Has 4 NEW BOSCH GLOW PLUG, and A NEW BLOCK HEATER. Starts right up in the cold weather. Needs either some vacuum lines replaced or a new vacuum cut off as the engine doesn't turn off with the key, you have to manually push the stop lever on the engine so it shuts off. Has a Sunroof but I don't know if it opens as its siliconed shut. Maybe it had a leaking problem I don't know, Windows on pass side roll down, drivers side windows do not. Heater blower motor works, wipers work, lights work. Brakes work good. Tires aren't that old. Not currently inspected but was inspected in 2010. Keep in mind you are not looking at a new car.
