You feel like you have been wrapped in a cloud and floating on air as you ride down the highway. The seats and dash are free of rips and tears along with the door panels except for a couple 1 inch cracks on the drivers door arm rest. The head liner is starting to show signs of sagging but has no rips or tears. With the exception of the power antenna, all of the power options on the car are in good working order. The antenna remains in the up position. This was a typical issue with these cars. Exterior: It holds a deep shine that truly stands out. The rear and front of this Cadillac are classic. The large chrome taillights and the shape of the back of the car add to its elegant style. The front is another great part of the car. The hood features two chrome lines coming to a point in the front, therefore drawing your eyes to the standing hood crest. The body is straight and rust-free. The chrome is in excellent condition. No pitting or rusting on these bumpers. Paint has a few chips but nothing significant, bumper inserts show no signs or cracking or splitting. Tires show little wear and are in great shape. Engine/Transmission: The 5.0 liter 307ci V8 under the hood is smooth and quiet and moves the car well. It does not leak, smoke, burn any oil or have any abnormal rattles or shakes. The transmission also shifts smoothly and with overdrive, it allows for excellent fuel mileage. And if the 5.0 ever needs servicing, there's lots of room and parts are reasonable and plentiful. New exhaust where needed and is very quiet going down the road. The AC was topped off this spring and blows ice cold. Car has fewer than 74,000 miles at the time of this writing. The car starts up every time (even after sitting for a month or two) with no problems. I am missing one center cap from the TRU Spoke wheels. Overall the car is in very good shape and I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country.
