Nice 500SE W126 chassis Euro spec Benz. Has a 5L aluminum V8 and four speed auto that just flies down the highway and isn't too bad round town either. Car has blue valuer interior with real wood trim. Tires are older but have lots of tread left. Has factory lightweight Mercedes alloy rims and a full size spare with marching rim. Breaks are good. Transmission fluid and filter replaced last year, new plugs, newer wires, new alternator. Power windows work fine, powered seats, headlight wipers, new windshield wipers. Even still has the big Benz star for the hood ornament. Ok, so the bad is the air conditioning doesn't work, but is all present. This summer has been unkind to the stereo as after a 108+ day a couple weeks ago the radio quit. Still has power, power antenna still goes up and down but no numbers for stations or music Just a light for the Dolby NR. All the speakers are awesome, high quality German fanciness. The other thing is the plastic gears that drive the odo gave it up with the same heat. These gears are a known issue with w126 cars, it's just annoying. She has about 157k on her but the clock shows 156,3xx. If you see this car and pay attention to the mileage tell tales like seats, carpet, and pedals you will know this is true and it's not a million mile beater. This is a real nice car for the price, look at what else you can get for a grand... The low price reflects me trying to be fair as she is not perfect and I have four cars, a wife having a baby in 2 or three weeks depending on the baby, lol, and well I need the money for the baby and wife's car more than I need my affluent toy.
