Most vehicles are trade ins, new dealer trade ins, auction purchases, estate settlement purchases or consignments. Vehicles are listed, described and advertised with information received from previous owners and/or what we notice during the short time we have in our posession. We typically DO NOT know any history, service records, previous repairs or previous issues with these items.....what we know will be listed in the ad.....AND......obviously we cannot predict any future problems, issues or breakdowns on any used vehicle. All items are sold as-is and no warranties are given or implied unless otherwise stated in the ad (some/most of our vehicles qualify for our new warranty program and we will clearly state that in the ad if that is the case). Most of our items are also pictured while on our shop/garge lift....we do this extra step to help you folks feel more comfortable and to help you see as much detail as possible.....we are not your typical "used car dealer" that plays games.....we will do our best to show and tell you everything we know and see with each vehicle. If its got problems, we will tell you. If it has damage, we will tell you. If it has title problems, we will tell you. If we see it, notice it or are told it by previous owner, we will tell you. If there is something not mentioned or you have a specific area of concern or a question....just call or email us and we will do everything possible to find out the answer for you. We do all of our EBAY auctions as a NO RESERVE Auction......this means NO high starting bid, NO rediculous asking price and NO games......High bidder wins the auction and buys the item for his/her winning bid! This means that YOU determine the sale price of the item and we sell the item regardless of the final price.........this has been our policy for over 10 years now on ebay and we find that it works very well for our customers. Our other strong policy is that we DO NOT end auctions early, no matter what! Once one of our auctions gets a bid, it rides out all the way to the very last second.....we do this to be fair to ALL bidders/potential buyers......you do not have to worry about the auction ending early. Item up for auction: 1984 Chevrolet Corvette coupe with removeable top. --------- Been sitting for a little over a year, just traded in. Item description, features and options: Crossfire injected 5.7L-350, automatic transmission (4 speed auto), power steering, brakes, mirrors, locks and windows, leather seats, tilt wheel, a/c, digital dash, 16" alloy wheels, center console, etc...... Tire condition: Tires are BF Goodrich radials with about 85% tread left, not many miles on these expensive tires!! All four matching. Interior condition: Fair condition inside with tears/cracks in leather seats but have covers, stains in carpets and some wear here and there. Dash appears to work properly. Door/window seals are weathered also. Body/Exterior condition: Solid and straight body overall. Not all banged up or beat, good, solid, straight body. Flip up lights work. No leaks noticed from top but doors do not open from outside and drivers window has to be left down so you can open door, so obviously some rain will get in that window. Drivers outer door handle is broke and passengers side just does not work from outside. Underneath condition: Solid, clean and original also.....see pics. Paint condition: Looks great from 20 feet with nice shine. Has minor spidering in paint on lower nose piece like most, some paint chips and one or two minor chips in gelcoats top layer but still looks very good and has nice shine and a very good overall appearance. Mechanical condition: Just fair right now........ Has been sitting over a year and needs a battery (this one will not hold a charge and is old). Starts ok and runs/idles ok.....sometimes it idles a little rough, sometimes (usually) a fast idle and sometimes it idles perfectly...????......Revs up very strong. Strong and smooth engine but should be serviced and tuned up. Transmission shifts fine, sometimes a hard shift due to fast idle, but works/shifts properly. Car drives and handles just fine. Again, been sitting and needs thoroughly gone over, serviced, tuned and inspected before using any amount. **** Car does appear to have good exhaust, some recently new (low miles)/replaced parts underneath like some bushings is suspension/a-arms, tires are not real old and have low miles, etc.....car also supposedly had a transmission rebuild 2-3 years ago and has less than 1,000 miles on new purple synthetic oil change...... but...... we do not have any documentaion, receipts or actual proof of any previous work done for this car, just previous owners say so. Mileage status: Over 100k miles, exempt on title. Title status: Clean and clear title in hand. Other notes: Selling this car as a project, needs work and sold as-is, where is. Should be towed, trailered or shipped.....Been sitting and is not currently inspected. *******Was used as a daily driver until change of employment forced the owner to let it sit under his carport last year. Would be asy car to fix-up/re-do or nice one to build!!
